Bangkok taxi drivers unhappy about crackdown

The campaign against Thai taxi drivers who turn down passengers has met with complaints from the cabbies and also raised doubts among commuters about their success.

Cabbies criticised the Bt1,000 fine for refusing to accept passengers as the crackdown kicked off yesterday.

Passengers believe the measure is not going to meet with success unless there is strict enforcement.
