5 Insurgents Killed in Clash with Security Forces in Yala

A security force surrounded a village in Krong Pinang District, Yala Province before killing five insurgents in a gunfight.

Yesterday evening, more than 50 members of a joint police-military task force surrounded a village in Krong Pinang District of Yala Province after having learned that 32 year-old Zachary Japakiya, a wanted insurgent suspect was organizing a meeting in the area.
