Two killed in far South roadside bomb ambushes

PATTANI, YALA, March 15 – Violence continued unabated in Thailand’s southern border region on Thursday with one policeman and one villager killed in separate roadside bomb ambushes in Pattani and Yala.

The first incident took place in Pattani province when presumed insurgents detonated an explosive device buried alongside the Pattani-Yala 410 Road.
