Motorcycle bomb at food shop near police station in Pattani

PATTANI, March 31 – A senior police officer at Pattani’s Mae Lan police station was slightly injured while he was having lunch at a food shop after the bomb hidden in a motorcycle exploded.

Pol Lt-Col Chitrakan Kuekoryuod, Deputy Superintendent of Mae Lan police station was eating his lunch at a food shop around 2pm when the bomb was exploded. He sustained injuries to his eyes and ears from bomb fragments and was sent to hospital.
