YALA, Jan 15 – Three soldiers were injured from a bomb explosion in the southern province of Yala on Sunday while patrolling to provide security for residents in Than To district, according to local police.

The three casualties were identified as Master Sergeant First Class Star Suebsuan, Pvt Manoch Pantiang and Pvt Rattanachai Chujaihan of the Yala Special Task Force Unit 16. All three were sent to Than To Hospital for treatment, said Pol Col Wichai Changsakul, superintendent of Than To Police Station.
