Chuwit exposes gambling dens in Bangkok

BANGKOK, 26 January 2012 (NNT) – Whistle-blowing Chuwit Kamolvisit, Rak Thailand Party leader, has exposed two more gambling networks in Bangkok, saying high-ranking police officials are behind the networks.

The Rak Thailand leader showed video clips taken inside the gambling dens to the media, saying their networks are spreading throughout Bangkok. According to him, two major networks namely Tue Golden Dragon and S. Sommai with 14 and eight gambling venues, respectively have been in operation for some time. He hinted that two police generals with initials “Or” and” Jor” were behind the gangs.

He added several gambling venues, which had been closed earlier, have now resumed their operations.

Metropolitan Police chief Winai Thongsong says as of now the police still have no detailed information on the gambling dens as cited by Mr Chuwit.
