Yingluck meets Burma’s democracy leader Suu Kyi

Rangoon – Burma’s opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi met Thai PM Yingluck Shinawatra on Tuesday in her first ever audience with a head of state from the region, a spokesman for her political party said Tuesday.

The meeting was also be Suu Kyi’s first with a prime minister since her release from house arrest more than a year ago, National League for Democracy spokesman Nyan Win said.
