A majority of the public is satisfied with the Pheu Thai government’s attempt to tackle Thailand’s drugs problem but want suppression authorities to be more vigilant in their monitoring, according to an ABAC poll.
The poll, gauging the public’s satisfaction with the government’s drugs suppression attempts during the flood, was conducted among 2,154 people aged 18 or over in 17 provinces from Dec 1 to Dec 8.
Eighty per cent of respondents said they are satisified with how the Yingluck Shinawatra government is dealing with drugs problems.
