Two security volunteers were killed and 11 people injured yesterday in a spate of early evening shooting, grenade and bomb attacks in Pattani and Yala.

A man dressed in white shot and injured a grocery shop owner identified only by the name of Suchada in Mayo district of Pattani around 6.40pm. The shop is about 700 metres from the district police station.
