Yellow shirt Member Faces Charges over Thailand Airport Protests

A member of the yellow-shirt movement denied legal charges against him over his group’s airport protests in 2008, after officials visited his home to inform him of the charges and interrogate him.

Investigators from the Crime Suppression Division today met with a man affiliated with the People’s Alliance for Democracy, Pramote Nakhonthap, at his home in Nonthaburi Province to raise charges against him for assembling more than 10 people and intending to stir chaos as part of the case regarding the group’s protests at Don Muang and Suvarnabhumi airports in 2008.

The investigators interrogated Pramote about his role in the airport protests, but he denied all allegations.
