Thailand: Yala teacher killed and burned

A school teacher was shot to death and his body set on fire by a group of suspected militants on Tuesday afternoon in Raman district of Yala province.

Pol Lt-Col Krisanapong Paetsith, chief investigator at Raman district police station, said the charred body of Kanit Lamnui, 38, a teacher of Ban Kue Meng School in tambon Asong, was found on the road to Sato village.
