Floods-related death toll in Thailand rises to 69

The on-going flooding has so far killed 69 people, Thailand’s Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department announced Wednesday.

Phanu Yaemsri, the director of the Disaster Mitigation Centre, said so far 12 provinces were still being affected by floods.

Abut 460,000 people from some 146,000 families in 2,367 of the provinces were still suffering from the floods.
