Two Monks caught with class 1 drugs at Temple in Sriracha

Two Thai Buddhist Monks accused of consuming and selling class 1 drugs have been removed from the monkhood and sent to jail pending court proceedings. Police were given information of the two men who, previous to being ordained as Monks, were accused of selling illegal drugs.

Police raided the accommodation block at the Cha Ko Temple in Sriracha and concentrated on rooms occupied by Khun Kunagorn aged 35 and Khun Gitisaak aged 31 and found 4 bags of Crystal Methamphetamine and drug taking paraphernalia.
