Magnitude-7.3 earthquake hits Japan, tsunami warning issued
Tokyo – A magnitude-7.3 earthquake struck north-eastern Japan Sunday morning, the Meteorological Agency said.
No casualties or damage were reported. The quake prompted the agency to issue a tsunami warning on the coast of the prefectures of Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima, but it was lifted at 11:45 am (0245 GMT).
