Hi speed internet developed to give more access to Thais

BANGKOK, 8 June 2011 (NNT)-5 major state enterprises have inked an agreement on the optical fiber development with an aim of providing hi speed internet access to as many as 80% of Thai population.

Director-General of State Enterprise Policy Office Mr. Somchai Sajjapong said the Memorandum of Understanding had been signed by the following organizations: TOT Plc Ltd, CAT Telecom Plc Ltd, The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority and the Provincial electricity Authority.
