Teachers at a government-controlled Pattaya School are being accused of covering up a case of sexual assault involving a 14 year old male student and 11 year old female student which occurred in the school toilet block last Friday.

The alleged assault only came-to-light on Tuesday after the female victim informed her Aunt of the incident. The girl claimed that Teachers at Pattaya School Number 9 in Naklua told her to forget about the assault and not to inform her friends or parents. On Wednesday Night, after Police had learnt of the case, all those involved were asked to attend Pattaya Police Station, including the parents of the boy, accused of conducting the assault and the girl who claims to have been assaulted.
