Thailand Flood death toll rises to 56
The death toll of recent floods in southern provinces has risen to 56, Public Health Minister Jurin Laksanavisit said Wednesday.
He said 25 people were killed in Nakhon Si Thammarat, 10 in Surat Thani, 6 in Phatthalung, 10 in Krabi, 2 in Trang, 2 in Chumphon and 1 in Phang Nga.
