NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, 6 April 2011 (NNT) – Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport has resumed its services in the wake of the recent flood while damages on the facilities are being evaluated.
Director of Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport Nisit Sombat announced that the provincial airport had been back in operation after it was forced to close down temporarily by flashflood on 27 March. He confirmed that the landing strip was not damaged as it was not one of the submerged areas within the airport. The first commercial flight made a landing safely this morning at 8.30 hrs.
