BANGKOK, 11 April 2011 (NNT) – Former world number 9 tennis player, Paradorn ‘Ball’ Srichaphan, has decided to join Thai politics as he has announced to compete in the upcoming election under the wing of the Chart Pattana Puea Pandin Party.

Speaking in a press briefing on Monday at InterContinental Hotel in Bangkok, Mr Paradorn, alias Superball, stated that he would be happy if he could contribute good things to the nation by working in politics as he wished to include sports as a national agenda and use sports for the national development.
