BANGKOK, 21 March 2011 (NNT)-The Meteorological Department told Thai people to expect summer storms from tomorrow until Thursday. High pressure will reach Northeastern Thailand and the East Coast tomorrow. It will bring thunderstorms, hail and strong gale forces. The temperatures around these areas will also be cooler.

Residents in Southern Thailand are warned against giant waves expected to reach 2-3 meters. More rains have also been forecast until this Saturday. People should take extra care when leaving the shores.
