HM The Queen of Thailand helps monk, novice
Her Majesty Queen Sirikit has graciously taken a monk and novice who were seriously injured in a gun attack by insurgents in Pattani on Saturday under her patronage.
Buddhism Office of Pattani director Thirachit Bovornnanthiwat said Thursday that Phra Suchart Inthankaew, 36, who is being treated at Songkhla Nakarin Hospital in Hat Yai, was stable and recovering.
However, his lower body remained paralysed following a gunshot wound to the spine.
