Bangkok: 3,000 policemen to keep security at Rajprasong New Year Eve
Some 3,000 policemen will be deployed to keep security at the Rajprasong Intersection on New Year Eve, Police Commissioner-General Pol Gen Wichien Phojphosri said Wednesday.
A countdown activity is normally held at the Central World at the intersection.
Wichien said police expect no untoward incidents but the police will be deployed to guard the area because many people will join the countdown.
