PATTANI, Oct 14 – One villager was killed and three others including 14-year-old girl were wounded in a shooting attack in the southern province of Pattani on Wednesday night.

Police inspected a rental house in Saiburi district to gather evidence and question witnesses after two men on a motorcycle fired on the victims as they sat outside the house.

Worawit Kanchanapachana, 27 was killed and three others were wounded. Their injuries were treated and they are recovering.

Police found spent bullet casings from an M16 assault rifle.
