Thailand gives licence to Venus Remedies for supply of anti-cancer drug

Venus Remedies, pharmaceutical manufacturer, said on Tuesday the Company has been awarded a contract for supply of its anti-cancer drug Docetaxel to the Thailand government.

The Company has bagged the compulsory license from the Thailand government for the supply of anti-cancer drug. The contract is valid for one year and is expected to generate a business of more than 100 million rupees to the company, said Venus.

The company have a tie-up with a local pharma group for marketing and distribution of the Docetaxel to the entire Thai market.
