BANGKOK, 22 September 2010 (NNT) – Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva remarked on Wednesday that the Emergency Decree will definitely be revoked in some provinces and that situations in the remaining provinces will be under close monitoring.

Following the government’s decision to extend an expiring decree effective in seven provinces including Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Samut Prakarn, Udon Thani, Nakhon Ratchasima and Khon Kaen, the Prime Minister tells the press that the Center for the Resolution of Emergency Situations (CRES) will propose relevant documents to the Cabinet to consider the extension, as the decree will expire on 7 October 2010.
