Blast injures 3 soldiers in Thailand
Three soldiers have been injured when an improvised bomb went off as the troops were leaving their outpost in Thailand’s southern province of Narathiwat.
A 5-kilogram bomb planted under a small pile of sand exploded on Friday morning in front of the soldiers’ outpost in the Bacho district of Narathiwat town as an eight-man patrol riding four motorcycles passed by, the Bangkok Post reported.
The home-made bomb was detonated by mobile phone, according to police.
