Australian red shirt released after pleading guilty

An Australian man got Friday got one-and a-half-month jail term after he pleaded guilty of having violated the emergency law in Bangkok.

Conor Purcell pleaded guilty of joining the protest of the red-shirt people and violated the ban of political gathering from March 14 to May 19.

The Pathumwan District Court sentenced him to be one and a half months in jail but since he had already remanded long enough, the court ordered his release.
