Bar Girl Caught After Taking Money From a Safe In Pattaya

A beer bar girl who stole £2,900 from a British man’s safe in his room has been arrested. She told police that she seen him put the number in and remembered it and stole the money because he never gave her a tip.

PATTAYA – September 27, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 15.00 pm Pol.Col.Suppatee Boonkrong-acting superintendent of Pattaya police station-, Pol.Capt.Netithorn Rattanasuchanan-deputy inspector- were accompanied with special police officers to arrest a Mrs.Teeraporn Natthong aged 40 and Mrs.Thikamporn Saithong aged 56 who were charged in act of robbing 100,000 baht after Mr.John Philip Sargant a 56 year old British man notified the police to catch them.

On the incident day Mr.John notified the police he had £2,900 Pounds stolen from the safe in his room at the Dusit Thani Pattaya hotel by Mrs.Teeraporn who he had hired to take care of his room. Later Pol.Capt.Netithorn investigated and found out that Mrs.Teeraporn worked in a bar near the dolphin island and led a team to catch her.

Upon questioning Mrs.Teeraporn she confessed that Mr.John had hired her to take care of his room and massage him. Three days ago she saw Mr.John open the safe box and she remembered the password. The following day she opened the safe and took the £2,900 and exchanged it into Thai baht (100,600 baht) and then took the money to Mrs.Thikamporn who was her step mom. Later she went back to work as if she hadn’t done anything wrong. She added that she stole the money because she was angry Mr.John hadn’t given her a tip.

However the police officers prosecuted Mrs.Teeraporn for robbery while Mrs.Thikamporn was charged for receiving stolen goods.
