Thailand Braces for Heat and Thunderstorms Across the North and Northeast from March 13th–18th

Thailand, March 12th, 2025 — The Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast for March 13th–18th, warning of rising temperatures and unstable weather across Thailand.

Thailand Braces for Summer Storms, 62 Provinces Under Storm Watch

On March 13th, southwesterly and southeasterly winds will cover upper Thailand, including the North, Northeast, Central, and East, bringing hot weather and isolated thunderstorms with strong winds and hail in some areas, especially in the North and Northeast on March 14th–15th.

From March 16th–18th, a moderate high-pressure system from China will extend over northeastern Thailand and the South China Sea, causing variable weather with thunderstorms, strong winds, and possible lightning before temperatures cool down.
