In a tragic turn of events, a 41-year-old German national, who was recently arrested and released on bail for allegedly assaulting several dentists in Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), was found dead in his home in Non Sung district on March 21, 2025. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, which includes the possibility of suicide or foul play.
German Man Arrested for Assaulting Dentists at Korat Clinic
The German man, whose name has not been disclosed, was discovered dead in his home in Don Chompoo sub-district. His Thai wife, who works in Prachin Buri, had lost contact with him and asked a friend to check on his well-being. When the friend arrived at the house, there was no response to knocks or doorbell rings.
With the assistance of the village headman and neighbors, the friend forced entry into the house. They found the man lying dead on his bed, wearing shorts and a vest. A five-centimeter-long laceration was visible on his neck, and the room appeared ransacked, with documents scattered across the floor. Two Rottweiler dogs were found next to his body.
Local police were immediately alerted and launched an investigation into the incident.
