The accident occurred when the boat’s driver lost control, causing the vessel to veer off course and collide with the mangroves.

Footage from the incident shows passengers clinging to their seats as the boat skidded onto land, slicing through dense mangrove trees. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported among the passengers.

Ellie Neary, a holidaymaker from Derbyshire, described the harrowing experience: “We were all terrified. The boat was going so fast, and suddenly we were crashing into the trees. It’s a miracle none of us were seriously hurt.”
