Thai court dismisses media shares case against Pita Limjaroenrat

BANGKOK, Jan 24 (TNA) – Following the Constitutional Court’s decision not to disqualify former Move Forward Party leader Pita Limcharoen as an MP, he can now resume his duties in the parliament right away, said Arpat Sukhanan, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives.

Pita confident he will be cleared by court in media share ownership case

The court on Wednesday found that iTV Pcl. did not engage in or generate revenue from newspaper publishing or any media outlets. Therefore, Pita is permitted to return to the House of Representatives as the court did not order the termination of his membership.
