BANGKOK, 10th August 2019(NNT) – The government has invited members of the public to join activities in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother’s birthday on August 12.
Prime Minister’s Office Permanent Secretary Phatcharaphorn Inseeyong said the government has prepared activities in Bangkok, the provinces and overseas. On August 12, an alms-giving ceremony will be conducted with 488 monks at Sanam Luang. Alms will be donated to social welfare units and needy temples. In the blessing ceremony, plates of flowers will be conferred at 5p.m. and candles will be lit at 7.30p.m.
