Buddhism Promotion Week kicks off at Lumpini Park

BANGKOK, 8 February 2017 (NNT) – The Department of Religious Affairs is organizing the Buddhism Promotion Week on the occasion of the Makha Bucha festival. An animation on moral and ethical lessons will be screened for children at Lumpini Park.

The Buddhism Promotion Week this year has been scheduled for 7-11 February 2017 at Lumpini Park, Pathumwan district. The department has set up a tent as a center of integrity to promote morality and ethics among young people and the general public. There is a miniature stupa containing the Buddha relics for people to pay respects to at the event.
