Cooling temperatures in the north attract tourists
THAILAND, 17 November 2016 (NNT) – In Nong Khai province, temperatures have dropped to as low as 22 degrees Celsius with thick fog at mountaintop viewpoints along Sangkhom district. The early winter climate has attracted a number of local and outside tourists.
Chaing Rai province has also recorded temperatures as low as 22 degrees, with visibility reduced to 1-2 meters, due to thick fog. The province’s meteorological department has notified locals to exercise caution, as temperatures will continue to drop, further reducing visibility in various areas.
