A Syrian migrant in custody over suspicions that he could be planning a terrorist attack in Berlin has committed suicide, German media report.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The man, Jaber al-Bakr, had been under round-the-clock surveillance, Spiegel said on Wednesday citing judicial sources. He was suspected of planning a bomb attack on an airport in the German capital.
