Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngarm clarified Friday night that Privy Council President Gen Prem Tinsulanonda is the Regent pro tempore.

Speaking on a special programme on TVs, Wissanu said the constitution makes the Privy president the Regent pro tempore after the current King’s passing until there is succession to the throne.
