KHON KAEN, 6 September 2016 (NNT) – The Chi River has flooded rice paddies in Khon Kaen province, on greater inflows from Chaiyaphum province.

Around 1,200 rai of rice paddies near the embankments of the Chi River in Wang Noi district have been flooded, bringing a total number of flooded rice fields to 3,000 rai.

More rice paddies could be flooded in the next couple of days, as the river is expected to overflow again on more inflows from other provinces.
