Chiang Mai’s urban areas still on alert for imminent flooding

CHIANG MAI, 27 September 2016, (NNT) – Several vulnerable, urban areas of Chiang Mai province are still put on alert for imminent flooding.

Deputy Chiang Mai provincial governor Mongkhol Suksai said that eight districts, 155 villages and 24 communities in Chiang Mai province had been declared flood-affected zones and measures are yet to be taken to assist flood victims.
