Women lose more than Bt10m to alleged swindler in Facebook handbag scam

MANY WOMEN have fallen prey to a handbag vendor who operates via Facebook and falsely promised to deliver luxury goods at a temptingly low price.

The vendor has allegedly bilked of an estimated Bt10 million in total from her victims, who jointly lodged a complaint with the Technology Crime Suppression Division yesterday.
