Thaksin urges Pheu Thai ex-MPs to visit people in their constituencies

Fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra told former Pheu Thai MPs to visit people in their constituencies and to try to tend to their problems, especially drought which has affected farmland and caused widespread hardship to rural inhabitants.

Through Skyping, Thaksin joined key members of the party, including former prime ministers Yingluck Shinawatra and Somchai Wongsawat and leaders of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship, in celebrating the Songkran festival at the party’s head office on Thursday.
