Drunk drivers might have to do mortuary work according to court judgement

BANGKOK, 19 April 2016 (NNT) – New measures requiring drunk drivers to observe the mortuary has been introduced by the Department of Probation, while the bill’s enactment will depend on the court’s discretion.

The Department of Probation’s Director-General Pol Col Naras Savestanan has introduced the measures requiring drunk drivers to work in the social service sector, including the mortuary, ICU rooms, and accident wards in partner hospitals for at least 48 hours.
