B20m in fake, contraband goods seized in Phuket, Hat Yai

Customs officers have seized counterfeit and untaxed products and banned items worth about 20 million baht in Hat Yai district of Songkhla and Phuket.

The seizures followed searches by customs officers and soldiers in three locations in Songkhla province, including the Hat Yai post office, bus terminal and railway station, as well as a private company providing postal services in Phuket.
