Pattaya under lock-down after Bangkok Bombings

Pattaya went into lock down after the Bangkok bombing yesterday. Police checkpoints were set up throughout the city, and at shopping malls. All police leave has been cancelled since the second bomb was detonated yesterday afternoon. Extra security will be present at shopping malls, for the immediate future and all people are being asked to report any suspicious activity of any kind.

Pattaya police held a closed door meeting on Tuesday and afterward assured residents of Pattaya that they are safe.
