Households and businesses in Bangkok were told to brace for brackish water from their water taps if there are not enough rains in the next 30 days to replenish water at major reservoirs which is the main source of water to push push back the invasion of sea water.

Mr Thanasak Wattanathana, acting governor of Metropolitan Waterworks Authority, disclosed Wednesday that the MWA had already cut the tap water production at Bangkhan plant.
