Reports are coming in from Hua Hin about tourist police questioning foreign nationals and demanding paperwork that is already on file with immigration for anyone staying legally in the Kingdom.

Social media is full of speculation as to why the Tourist Police are asking for personal details. They are claiming that it is for foreign national registration.

No official confirmation has been found so far.
