Australian Survives Shooting in Surat Thani

SURAT THANI — Police say a 64-year-old Australian man was injured in an assassination attempt in Surat Thani province today.

The victim, who has been identified as E. W., was driving in Surat Thani’s city center when he was shot at by an unknown number of gunmen on a motorcycle, according to police.
