Phone Number registration to begin 2 February

There are 110 million mobile numbers in Thailand 90% are prepaid. They are cheap, easy, and convenient to pick up. Or they were. New regulations are in place and being enforced. By 31 July all mobile numbers have to be registered. Officials state this initiative is for national security.

Registration season lasts from 2 February to 31 July.
