A 23-year-old British man has been acquitted of murdering a fellow Liverpudlian who died after falling from a 5th floor balcony at his Bangkok apartment in June 2013.

James Anthony Durnan was cleared of murdering his friend, Darren Taylor, and walked free from Bangkok Criminal court with a 1500 baht fine after being found guilty of drugs charges plus a two month suspended sentence for assaulting Taylor’s pregnant girlfriend.
