October’s rice exports totaled 1.2 million tonnes worth 19 billion baht which is the highest of the year on monthly basis, said Mr Charoen Laothammathat, president of Rice Exporters Association.

Rice exports for the first ten months of the year totalled 8.77 million tonnes worth 139.8 billion baht, representing a substantial increase of 62.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
